Summary

This bill would require the New York City Police Department (NYPD) to report on the number of confirmed firearm discharges in the city on a quarterly basis. NYPD would be required to report the date, time, and location of each firearm discharge. This report would not include firearm discharges by NYPD officers acting within the scope of their duties.
