A study and report on the potential installation of works of art or structures to acknowledge the draft riots of 1863.

This bill would require the Commissioner of Cultural Affairs to conduct a study and provide a report to the Mayor and the Council on the potential installation of works of art or structures to acknowledge and commemorate the draft riots of 1863. The commissioner would be required to consult with other relevant agencies, community stakeholders, and experts. The report would have to include, among other things, findings and recommendations regarding the number and locations of the works of art or structures, along with findings and recommendations concerning funding and creator selection.
