Summary
This bill would require the Commissioner of Homeless Services to make best efforts to coordinate with hospitals to make available supplies to patients experiencing homelessness, upon their discharge from the hospitals. The supplies during a Code Blue alert would include a mylar thermal blanket, a set of hand warmers, a winter hat, and a pair of gloves. The supplies during a Code Red alert would include a mylar thermal blanket, a reusable water bottle filled with water, cooling wipes, and a bandana.
