A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to limiting the household rent contribution for recipients of a rental assistance voucher

Summary

This bill would require that the rent contribution for CityFHEPS recipients not exceed 30 percent of the household’s total monthly income, regardless of whether the household receives public assistance or has earned income.
