Summary

This bill would require the Department of Education (DOE) to solicit feedback from high school students about their experiences with science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education, including questions to help ascertain the reasons for any racial and gender disparities in enrollment in STEM activities. DOE would also be required to publish an annual report on STEM activities, demographics of students enrolled in such activities, and STEM teachers available, at every high school.
