Summary

This bill would require the Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities (MOPD) to publish on its website a list of wheelchair repair providers in the city, updated at least once annually. When feasible, the list must include each provider’s name, address, email, phone number, website, hours of operation, accepted insurance, and accepted payment methods. The Department of Health and Mental Hygiene must post a link to this list on its website, and 311 must provide the MOPD link in response to public inquiries about locating wheelchair repair providers.
