A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to establishing a program to support youth in foster care and youth who have exited foster care

Summary

This bill would require the Administration for Children’s Services (ACS) to operate a program to improve the outcomes for youth currently in foster care as well as youth that have exited foster care. This bill would require the program to include long term coaching, academic support, career development guidance, mental health resources, and housing assistance.
