Summary

This bill would require the Mayor’s Office of Equity and Racial Justice (MOERJ) to provide publicly available information on the legal rights and resources available to TGNCNBI individuals, including information on protections against discrimination and harassment related to gender, including gender identity, or sexual orientation. It would also include information on hate crime protections, access to gender-affirming care, community-based organizations offering support services for TGNCNBI individuals, and legal name and gender marker changes. The bill would also require MOERJ to submit a report on the public information provided and engage in a media campaign regarding the public information.
