Summary

This bill would amend section 7-628 of the Administrative Code by requiring the Department of Finance (DOF) to notify interested parties by postal mail and, if elected by the interested party, by e-mail or text message, or both, when a deed-related or mortgage-related document has been recorded for the property. DOF would be required to send such notifications no later than 30 days after the relevant recording.
