Summary

This bill would expand the reporting requirements for the implementation of next generation 911. The annual reports will now include information on efforts to hire or retain an expert on accessibility for the deaf and hard of hearing community to assess the requirements for implementation of next generation 911, information on the qualifications of any such experts hired or retained, and a description of any plans for informing the deaf and hard of hearing community on the availability of next generation 911, including text to 911.
