Summary
This bill would require the mayor to designate an agency or office to establish guidelines for insurance requirements for food procurement vendors. These guidelines would be created in consultation with the office of food policy and shared with the council before being finalized. Agency solicitations for food-related services would need to be consistent with these guidelines. The designated agency or office would be required to review and revise these guidelines every two years.
