Summary

This bill would authorize the Queens Plaza/Court Square Business Improvement District to change its name to the Long Island City Business Improvement District (BID). This bill would also authorize an increase in the amount to be expended annually in the BID to $2,058,978. This bill would also extend the boundaries of the existing BID to incorporate new areas, amend the method by which the district charge is assessed, and increase the maximum amount allowed to be spent for improvements in the BID.
