Summary

The bill would expand the scope of existing reports required to be produced by the New York City Police Department (“NYPD”). Such reporting includes, but is not limited to, disclosure of information and data related to the NYPD’s use of stop-question-and-frisk, its deployment of officers and use of overtime spending, and crime status information, such as data on criminal complaints, arrests, and summons issued. Additionally, all such reports would be required to be publicly posted on the NYPD’s website.
