Summary

This bill would require the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene to report annually on drowning deaths that occur in the city. The report would include the location and facility type at which the drowning death occurred, the manner in which the drowning death occurred, the age group and gender identity of the decedent, the race and ethnicity of the decedent, whether the decedent had a physical, medical, mental, or psychological impairment; and whether alcohol, drugs, or prescription medication was a contributing factor.
