A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to reporting on involuntary removals

Summary

This bill would require the Mayor’s Office of Community Mental Health, in conjunction with the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, the New York City Police Department, the New York City Fire Department, and other agencies, to provide an annual report to the Council with information regarding involuntary removals conducted pursuant to Mental Hygiene Law Sections 9.41 and 9.58.
