Summary

This bill would create a juvenile justice advisory board consisting of twenty members, to advise and provide recommendations to the Mayor, the Council, and the Administration for Children’s Services on issues related to juvenile justice. This bill would require the board to annually report to the Mayor and the Speaker a description of its activities, the results of its review and recommendations, and any challenges faced in providing oversight and feedback.
