Summary

This bill would require an agency or office designated by the Mayor, in collaboration with the Department of Information Technology and Telecommunications and any other relevant agency or office, to create and maintain a publicly accessible online portal regarding child care subsidies, by February 1, 2023. The portal would be available in the designated citywide languages and would include, but not be limited to, the following information for each user of the portal, based on information provided by the user: the name of each subsidy for which such user is eligible, the eligibility requirements for each such subsidy, and instructions on how to apply for each such subsidy. The portal would also include the forms needed to apply for each subsidy, including any electronic forms available which may be submitted online through the portal.
