A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to reporting on the seizure of three-dimensional printed guns and ghost guns, or any piece or part thereof

Summary

This bill would require the New York Police Department (“NYPD”) to report quarterly on the number of three-dimensional printed guns (“3D-printed”) and so-called “ghost guns,” defined as firearms assembled using an unfinished lower receiver, that are seized by the NYPD. Consistent with the NYPD’s existing reporting requirements, the report must be disaggregated by precinct.
