Summary

This bill would require building owners to post a sign that a portable ramp is available for access to the building at inaccessible building entrances, where that ramp exists. The New York City Building Code already requires directional signage at inaccessible building entrances indicating the route to the nearest accessible entrance. This bill would also establish safety standards for such portable ramps.
