A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to bike share safety reporting

Summary

This bill would require that the agreement governing the City’s bike share program require the bike share operator to report safety incidents involving the bike share’s bicycles and electric bicycles. Safety incidents would include collisions, traffic violations, and instances of bicycle theft or vandalism. DOT would be required to publish the reported safety incident information every six months on its website.
