Summary

This bill would require the New York City Police Department (NYPD) to publicly post data on arrests made in the presence of children. The dataset would include (i) the number of arrests made of a parent or caregiver in the presence of a child in each quarter; (ii) the precinct where each arrest occurred; (iii) the date of each arrest; (iv) whether, in each case, a minor was left in the care of another caregiver; and (v) the age of each minor.
