This bill would bar, through amendment of section 1136.1 of the New York City Charter, New York City elected officers and their spouses from appearing in an advertisement or commercial, including but not limited to a public service announcement, produced with governmental funds or resources that is displayed on infrastructure owned, operated, or franchised by the City. It would also make certain technical corrections to the section.
