Summary

This bill would require the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, with the help of the Department of Consumer and Worker Protection, to create educational materials around estate planning. These materials would be made available on the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene’s website and prepared in the designated citywide languages. Additionally, the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene would create guidelines for the distribution of these materials at hospitals for patients that are facing high-risk medical procedures.
