Summary

This bill would raise the maximum age at which someone can take the civil service exam to become a police officer from thirty-five years of age to forty-three years of age. This legislation also allows individuals who have spent time on military duty or terminal leave to subtract up to six years of service time from their age for purposes of exam eligibility.
