Summary

This bill would require the Department of Transportation (DOT) to mail notices to each mailing address along the route of a proposed bicycle lane project prior to installing or removing a bicycle lane. Residents, organizations, and businesses would be afforded fifteen days, from the notice’s postmark, to submit comments and recommendations regarding the bicycle lane to DOT. DOT would be required to consider these comments and could choose to incorporate such comments into its plan.
