This bill would prohibit the sale of any single use beverage container which does not have a tethered cap that prevents the separation of the cap from the container when removed from the container by the consumer, or which does not have an opening from which the beverage can be consumed while the cap is affixed to the container. The prohibition would begin on January 1, 2032.
