Summary

This bill would establish insurance guidelines for all city contracts. The bill would require an agency designated by the Mayor, in consultation with the city chief procurement officer, to establish contract categories and corresponding insurance guidelines for city contractors. The guidelines would need to be provided to the Council thirty days before being finalized and reviewed at least every two years in consultation with industry representatives.
