Summary

This bill would prohibit the sale of electronic cigarettes that resemble school supplies, including electronic cigarettes that could be mistaken for highlighters, staplers, writing pens, or pencils. The prohibition would be enforced by the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, the Department of Consumer and Worker Protection, and the Department of Finance. Violations of the ban on e-cigarettes resembling school supplies would be punishable by civil penalties, license suspension, seizure, and sealing.
