This bill would require the department of correction and correctional health services to maintain a medical clinic staffed by health care professionals in each New York City criminal court facility. In addition, correctional health services would be required to prepare a document that details the food, medication, or other medical services a person requires while in a court facility, and the department of correction must provide access to the medical clinic to persons with needs outlined in such document.
