Summary

This bill would require the Department of Information Technology and Telecommunications to ensure translation of the 311 mobile application by a human translator into the designated citywide languages, and to make the translated app available for download on the NYC311 website and in app stores, by January 31, 2024. The Department would also be required to have new additions and updates to the app translated within 30 days of such changes, and to report on its compliance with these requirements annually.
