Summary

This bill would amend the administrative code, requiring early education centers that contract with the Department of Education (DOE) to provide pre-kindergarten services to pay their education professionals at least as much as the rate paid to DOE employees in similar roles as of July 1, 2025, and to provide similar or equivalent benefits or cash in lieu of benefits. DOE would be responsible for implementing the requirements of the bill and reporting annually on the bill’s implementation.
