A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to sealing community facilities used for purposes not authorized in their certificate of occupancy

Summary

This bill would give the Commissioner of Buildings the authority to declare buildings and other premises designated as “community facilities” as public nuisances when they are used for a purpose other than what is authorized in their certificate of occupancy. The Commissioner of Buildings could then seal a community facility declared a public nuisance.
