Summary

This bill would require the Department of Sanitation (DSNY) to analyze the ways in which the practices of New York City’s religious communities may conflict with the set-out times for solid waste and recycling material. DSNY would be required to propose accommodations for religious practices that conflict with set-out times and to evaluate the feasibility of these proposals.
