Summary

This bill would establish a task force to study options for making street design and infrastructure safer for pedestrians, motorists, cyclists, and operators of electric bicycles (also known as e-bikes) in consideration of increased use of electric bicycles and related collisions in New York City. The task force would submit a report to the mayor and the speaker of the Council with recommendations for legislation and policy within 270 days of its creation.
