Summary
This bill would require the Mayor to designate an office or agency to provide at least 30 days’ notice to a Borough President, Council Member, and Community Board of a planned installation of an energy storage system within their respective jurisdictions. At a minimum, the notice would have to include the location, zoning district, and estimated commencement and completion dates of the planned installation. The designated office or agency would have to solicit from Borough Presidents, Council Members, and community boards their preferred methods of notice and appropriate contact information.
