Summary

This bill would require the Department of Homeless Services (DHS) to post and update semiannually on its website an interactive map containing information related to each shelter through which DHS or a provider under contract with DHS provides temporary emergency housing. DHS would have to include the following information on the map: shelter address, populations served by the shelter, and a photo of the shelter. DHS would exclude information about certain shelters from the map due to security concerns related to the populations served by such shelter.
