Summary

This bill would require commercial building owners and operators to have on hand and provide face coverings to individuals who are entering the premises of such buildings. Violations would be subject to civil penalties of $50 for the first offense, $100 for the second offense and $200 for the third and subsequent offenses. The bill would also create a separate category for face covering complaints on the City’s 311 website and mobile application.
