Summary

This bill would require the creation of a publicly accessible, centralized online database for tracking vehicles towed by the New York Police Department, tow operators licensed by the Department of Consumer and Worker Protection or any other City entity, along with a corresponding opt-in notification system to alert vehicle owners if their vehicle information is entered into the database.
