Summary

This bill would require the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) and the Department of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS) to provide free menstrual products in bathroom facilities operated by the City. DOHMH, in coordination with DCAS, would be required to submit to the Mayor and the Speaker of the Council an annual report, which would include the total number of bathroom facilities operated by the City, the total number of bathroom facilities operated by the City where menstrual products are not available, and if there are any bathroom facilities operated by the City where menstrual products are not available, the reasons why the products are not available.
