Summary

This bill would temporarily alter the terms of the contract between the city and NYCEDC (“EDC”) by requiring EDC to produce reports twice a year on the progress of the JFK redevelopment plans. Such reports would need to include information regarding progress made on the redevelopment plan and any changes made to the scope, timeline or budget; actions taken by the Port Authority pursuant to the redevelopment plan; and an analysis of the impact of the redevelopment plan on communities around JFK airport.
