A Local Law in relation to requiring the department of social services to prepare and submit a plan to address economic empowerment for shelter residents

Summary

This bill would require the department of social services, in coordination with the department of small business services and all other relevant city agencies, to create a plan to ensure coordination across city agencies to provide economic empowerment services for shelter residents including asylum seekers.
