Summary

This bill would require the department of social services, in consultation with the commission on human rights, the department of consumer and worker protection, the department of youth and community development, the department of health and mental hygiene (DOHMH), and community based organizations, to develop parenting resource materials for new parents and guardians, for distribution to such parents and guardians by DOHMH upon receipt of notice of a birth.
