Summary

This bill would require that, where the Health Code requires licenses, approvals, or permits from multiple agencies, the Board of Health must coordinate as needed with the relevant agencies to determine which approvals are needed and the order in which they must be obtained. In addition, this information must be outlined in the relevant Health Code provisions. This bill would not change agencies’ existing authority to issue licenses, approvals, or permits.
