Summary

This bill would create a Downed Tree Task Force consisting of NYC Emergency Management, the Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR), the Police Department, Fire Department, Department of Information Technology, Department of Sanitation, Department of Transportation and representatives from the major utility companies to assist in the safe clearing and removal of City owned trees and/or tree limbs that have fallen as a result of a severe weather event.
