Summary

This bill would prohibit homeless families with children from being temporarily housed in private buildings with more than five class C housing maintenance code violations. Current homeless families with children in such buildings would be permitted to remain, but no additional families with children would be housed in such buildings until corrections have been certified by the Department of Housing Preservation and Development.
