A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to requiring the department of transportation to conduct an annual study on bicycle activity

Summary

This bill would require the Department of Transportation to conduct and submit to the Mayor and the Speaker of the Council and post on its website an annual study on cycling activity in the City for the previous year. The study would require the department to identify information such as the most frequently biked streets and bridges, and to make recommendations for improving bike safety in these areas and other locations in the City.
