Summary

This bill requires the Department of Consumer and Worker Protections to report on the public’s use of its Financial Empowerment Centers, including statistics for services contracted out to external providers. The bill also requires the Department to report on student loan debt distress in New York City and to make the underlying data used for such report available on the New York City Open Data portal.
