Preconsidered Res. No. 107 ..Title Resolution approving the new designation and changes in the designation of certain organizations to receive funding in the Expense Budget. ..Body By Council Member Brannan Whereas, On June 30, 2021, the Council of the City of New York (the "City Council") adopted the expense budget for fiscal year 2022 with various programs and initiatives (the "Fiscal 2022 Expense Budget"); and Whereas, On June 30, 2020, the City Council adopted the expense budget for fiscal year 2021 with various programs and initiatives (the "Fiscal 2021 Expense Budget"); and Whereas, On June 19, 2019, the Council adopted the expense budget for fiscal year 2020 with various programs and initiatives (the "Fiscal 2020 Expense Budget"); and Whereas, The City Council is hereby implementing and furthering the appropriations set forth in the Fiscal 2022, Fiscal 2021 and Fiscal 2020 Expense Budgets by approving the new designation and/or the changes in the designation of certain organizations receiving local, youth and aging discretionary funding, and by approving the new designation and changes in the designation of certain organizations to receive funding pursuant to certain initiatives in accordance therewith; and Whereas, The City Council is hereby implementing and furthering the appropriations set forth in the Fiscal 2022 Expense Budget by approving new Description/Scope of Services for certain organizations receiving local and youth discretionary funding and funding pursuant a certain initiative; now, therefore, be it Resolved, That the City Council approves the new designation and the changes in the designation of certain organizations receiving local discretionary funding pursuant to the Fiscal 2022 Expense Budget, as set forth in Chart 1; and be it further Resolved, That the City Council approves the new designation and the changes in the designation of certain organizations receiving youth discretionary funding pursuant to the Fiscal 2022 Expense Budget, as set forth in Chart 2; and be it further Resolved, That the City Council approves the new designation and the changes in the designation of certain organizations receiving aging discretionary funding pursuant to the Fiscal 2022 Expense Budget, as set forth in Chart 3; and be it further Resolved, That the City Council approves the new designation a of certain organization receiving funding pursuant to the Anti-Poverty Initiative in accordance with the Fiscal 2022 Expense Budget, as set forth in Chart 4; and be it further Resolved, That the City Council approves the change in the designation of a certain organization receiving funding pursuant to Boroughwide Needs Initiative in accordance with the Fiscal 2022 Expense Budget, as set forth in Chart 5; and be it further Resolved, That the City Council approves the new designation and the change in the designation of certain organizations receiving funding pursuant to the Speaker's Initiative to Address Citywide Needs in accordance with the Fiscal 2022 Expense Budget, as set forth in Chart 6; and be it further Resolved, That the City Council approves the new designation of certain organizations receiving funding pursuant to the SU-CASA Initiative in accordance with the Fiscal 2022 Expense Budget, as set forth in Chart 7; and be it further Resolved, That the City Council approves the new designation and the changes in the designation of certain organizations receiving funding pursuant to the Cultural After-School Adventure (CASA) Initiative in accordance with the Fiscal 2022 Expense Budget, as set forth in Chart 8; and be it further Resolved, That the City Council approves the new designation and the change in the designation of certain organizations receiving funding pursuant to the Parks Equity Initiative in accordance with the Fiscal 2022 Expense Budget, as set forth in Chart 9; and be it further Resolved, That the City Council approves the new designation and the change in the designation of certain organizations receiving funding pursuant to the Cultural Immigrant Initiative in accordance with the Fiscal 2022 Expense Budget, as set forth in Chart 10; and be it further Resolved, That the City Council approves the new designation and the changes in the designation of certain organizations receiving funding pursuant to the Digital Inclusion and Literacy Initiative in accordance with the Fiscal 2022 Expense Budget, as set forth in Chart 11; and be it further Resolved, That the City Council approves the new designation of a certain organization receiving funding pursuant to the NYC Cleanup Initiative in accordance with the Fiscal 2022 Expense Budget, as set forth in Chart 12; and be it further Resolved, That the City Council approves the new designation and the new designation and the changes in the designation of certain organizations receiving funding pursuant to the Support Our Seniors Initiative in accordance with the Fiscal 2022 Expense Budget, as set forth in Chart 13; and be it further Resolved, That the City Council approves the new designation and the change in the designation of certain organizations receiving funding pursuant to Domestic Violence and Empowerment (DoVE) Initiative in accordance with the Fiscal 2022 Expense Budget, as set forth in Chart 14 and be it further Resolved, That the City Council approves the new designation and the change in the designation of certain organizations receiving funding pursuant to the Crisis Management System Initiative in accordance with the Fiscal 2022 Expense Budget, as set forth in Chart 15 and be it further Resolved, That the City Council approves the new designation and the change in the designation of certain organizations receiving funding pursuant to the Naturally Occurring Retirement Communities (NORCs) Initiative in accordance with the Fiscal 2022 Expense Budget, as set forth in Chart 16; and be it further Resolved, That the City Council approves the new designation and the changes in the designation of certain organization receiving funding pursuant to the Pandemic Support for Human Service Providers Initiative in accordance with the Fiscal 2022 Expense Budget, as set forth in Chart 17; and be it further Resolved, That the City Council approves the new designation and the change in the designation of certain organizations receiving Youth Discretionary Funding pursuant to the Fiscal 2021 Expense Budget, as set forth in Chart 18; and be it further Resolved, That the City Council approves the change in the designation of a certain organization receiving funding pursuant to the Adult Literacy Pilot Project in accordance with the Fiscal 2020 Expense Budget, as set forth in Chart 19; and be it further Resolved, That the City Council approves the amendments of the Description/Scope of Services of certain organizations receiving local and youth discretionary and funding in accordance with a certain initiative pursuant to the Fiscal 2022 Expense Budget, as set forth in Chart 20; and be it further Resolved, That the City Council approves the organizations that will receive equipment, specifically an automated external defibrillator, funded by the Beating Hearts Initiative as designated in Schedule C for Fiscal 2022, as set forth in Chart 21.
