Summary

This bill would require scrap metal facilities to maintain a record of all transactions between the facilities and sellers of scrap metal and that certain information be provided by the seller at the time of the transaction, such as the name and residence of the seller. The bill would also prohibit a processor from accepting any scrap metal from a seller who refused to provide such information.
