A Local Law to amend the New York city charter and the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to requiring the civilian complaint review board to conduct an investigation of any injury or death caused by police action

Summary

This bill would require the Civilian Complaint Review Board to investigate all instances in which an injury or death to a civilian occurs during a police action. It would also require the Police Department to notify the Board of all such instances.
